Back to School

It’s back to school time and we’re here to hopefully make this time a little easier!

Does your child receive Pandemic EBT benefits? Pandemic EBT (P-EBT) provides families financial support to cover the cost of groceries while school is closed. This benefit is provided to ALL families whose children receive free and reduced-price school meals in Oregon. Get the most for your dollar by participating in our $20 SNAP Match program!

How does it work?

  1. Bring your Oregon Trail card to the information booth at any of our markets.

  2. Swipe your card for the amount that you would like to be deducted from your card for market purchases. Payment will be given via $1 green tokens.

  3. Receive your $2 Double Up Food Bucks up to $20 per customer per market.

    1. Buy $20, get $20 free, for a total of $40!

  4. Shop the market!

SNAP/EBT (Green) tokens can be used to purchase most food items, including fruits, vegetables, breads, cereals, popcorn, meat, fish, poultry, dairy products, baked goods to be taken home, and seeds or plants intended for growing food. Green tokens may not be used for beer, wine, liquor, nonfood items (e.g., merchandise, pet foods, soaps, paper products, household supplies), vitamins and medicines, ready-to-eat foods, hot foods, or flowers. No change can be given for green tokens.

Double Up Food Bucks can be used to purchase any variety of fresh, dried, or frozen fruits and vegetables without added sugars, fats, oils, or salt. Includes mushrooms, cut herbs, dried beans, vegetable starts, and nuts. DUFB may not be used to purchase meats, cheeses, eggs, bread, or other processed foods. No change may be given.
