About:

I am a former cook. I was working in a Japanese restaurant, training to become a sushi chef, when I realized that my knife passion had outgrown my passion for cooking. I knew that I had to make a change, so I started a knife sharpening business. Most of my customers are high-end knife collectors ($500-$4000 knives), but I feel that everyone should have sharp knives in their kitchen. Starting next year, 2021, I'll begin an apprenticeship as a blacksmith, specializing in kitchen knives. Until then, I'll be in Hillsboro, sharpening as many knives as possible.

Why Forty Knives Loves Farmers Markets:

Local produce, artisans/crafters, good food. What's not to love?
