About the Market

The  Tuality Hospital Farmers’ Market has been in operation for 4 years, and is the result of a partnership between Hillsboro Farmers’ Market, Inc. and  Tuality Hospital to “build a healthier community”.  This market is open to the public, visitors, students, and employees.

SNAP and WIC customers are welcome at this market.  HFM continues its highly successfully SNAP/ Oregon Trail Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT) market money options for our customers. Shoppers can use their debit or Oregon Trail card at the HFM information booth in exchange for market money (wooden tokens) at the HFM information booth. WIC customers can use their vouchers directly with vendors that are authorized to accept these vouchers.   Look for the blue WIC Accepted signs posted in vendor stalls, or ask about WIC approved vendors at the info booth if you are looking to use your WIC voucher at our markets.

“Tuality Bucks”

This program allows employees of Tuality Hospital deduct wages from their payroll check, and receive “Tuality Money” for use at the Tuality Farmers’ Market.  The money comes in $1 and $5, and can be used at all booths. (Tokens are available at the Information Booth for Oregon Trail Card purchases.)  Vendors selling at the Tuality Farmers Market are required to accept Tuality Money.
