From May through October, the Hillsboro Saturday Farmers' Market takes place each week, from 8:00am to 1:30pm, along the downtown streets and sidewalks lining the Washington County Courthouse and the new Hillsboro Civic Center. It offers fresh, locally-grown produce, nursery plants, arts and crafts, food and drink, as well as live entertainment. It was established in 1981, and is one of the longest-running, true producers' markets in the Northwest.
Also running May through October is the Hillsboro Sunday Farmers' Market at Orenco Station - open from 10:00am to 2:00pm - offering many of the great items you'll find downtown on Saturday, but with a slightly different mix, and some culinary delights that you may not spot at other markets.
And during the splendid summer months of June though August (from 5:00pm to 8:30pm), everyone comes out for a week-night festival in Downtown Hillsboro — the Hillsboro Tuesday Marketplace! Centered around a main stage of live entertainment, the Hillsboro Tuesday Marketplace offers hot food from local restaurateurs, fresh, locally-grown produce, classic cars, activities for the kids, arts and crafts, educational opportunities and more!
