The Hillsboro Tuesday Marketplace - a summer evening community festival, farmers’ market and gathering place in historic downtown Hillsboro - will open for its 10th Anniversary season on June 10, 2008.

Each season brings a great entertainment lineup to the Main Stage and the occassional special performance at the Civic Center Plaza.

At every Tuesday Market, you'll find your favorite food, art, craft and produce vendors. There is a Classic Car Showcase with various types of exciting vehicles, various community education booths, and the 2007 market featured several special events and celebrations, including Yesterfest (tons of old-fashioned fun for the whole family - 2-legged races, pie-eating contest, egg in spoon contest, etc - provided by Hillsboro Parks & Recreation), Dogs on Parade (a fun community dog parade at the market), and a Sidewalk Chalk Contest, (for all ages and all artistic abilities).

Volunteer Opportunities

We are also actively recruiting volunteers for this season's market. There are a number of volunteer opportunities, all promising fun and camaraderie. Scheduling is flexible, and you do not have to commit for the entire season.
